Please check individual productions for their start time.

We usually won’t know the exact running time of a production until the first preview performance.

The majority of productions have an interval, which usually lasts for 20 minutes.

Latecomers may be admitted at the first suitable break however this cannot be guaranteed and varies between productions. The show will start at the time stated on your ticket so please allow plenty of time to get to the theatre.

If a production contains nudity, swearing and/or scenes of a violent or sexual nature that might be distressing for some audiences, we will highlight this on the production information page and in the theatre.

Strobe lighting, smoke effects and gunshots will sometimes be used in productions and we will highlight this on the production information page and in the theatre.

Some of our productions will have a specific age recommendation which will be clearly listed on the individual production page and the booking page.

We aspire to make all of our customers welcome, no matter how small and we really hope that our younger visitors become regulars.

We reserve the right to refuse admittance to any patron, including unaccompanied minors.

• For family and children’s shows where there is a ‘babes in arms’ policy in place, under 2-year olds will be required to sit on the knee of a paying adult. If the production does not have a specific babes in arms policy, children under two will not be permitted to any performance.
• All persons aged under 16 must be accompanied and seated next to the accompanying adult. They may not sit on their own within the auditorium.

If any age restrictions for productions apply due to content we shall advise you prior to the performance.

Wheelchair Spaces
All public areas are accessible to wheelchair users, including lift access to the
circle level. We have allocated wheelchair spaces for every performance and
accessible toilets available on the stalls level, located off the foyer. Please see the Plan Your Visit page for details on how to order accessible seating tickets – all accessible seats come with a free carer / companion ticket. 

Assistance Dogs
Please advise during the booking process and a seat next to the aisle will be
reserved for you.

Other Needs
If you have any other specific needs, please don’t hesitate to get in touch so
that we can do our very best to give you full and equal access to our service. We can arrange early access for groups with additional needs for example. 

Our foyer bar will be open before and during performances serving drinks and snacks. Don’t forget that you can pre-order your drinks for interval.

All food consumed on site must be bought on site. We do not allow hot food or ice cream to be brought into the auditorium.

Squire Performing Arts Centre is only open to the public on performance days. The theatre opens approximately 30 minutes before the beginning of a performance.

We are happy for you to take pictures inside the auditorium of the theatre before the show begins. Please feel free to share them on Social Media. However, it is strictly forbidden to take pictures of the action on stage when the curtain goes up.

For the safety and comfort of all audience members, rucksacks and large bags (bigger than a small under-the-shoulder handbag or messenger bag) will not be permitted into the auditorium. All items are left at the owner’s risk.

If you have lost an item in the building, please email info@squirepac.co.uk to check whether it has been handed in and to arrange collection during our opening hours. Please note that any unclaimed items will be disposed of after 30 days.

The venue is cleaned daily, face masks at the discretion of our audience and sanitiser points are positioned throughout the foyer.

The smoking of cigarettes or e-cigarettes is not permitted inside the theatre.
