PLAN YOUR VISIT 

Our free 120 space car park is located at the junction of Arboretum Street and Balmoral Road, at our friendly neighbour’s site, Nottingham Girls’ High School. Follow the signs to their Visitor Car Park and down the ramp labelled ‘the space’. The theatre will be visible and access is via a stepped path.

There is limited space to drop off outside the front of the theatre for those who require accessibility via ramp to the theatre.

Our car park for blue badge holders is located on Arboretum Street directly next to the theatre. This parking is opposite the sports pitch and signed ‘Nottingham Girls’ High School’. From here there is flat access inside.

From the South & West Leave the M1 at junction 25 and turn towards Nottingham (A52). Continue on the A52 towards Nottingham. At the fourth roundabout continue straight on over the ring road, passing the Queen’s Medical Centre on your right. Continue for approximately two miles to the top of a hill, where the road bends left at traffic lights (Canning Circus). Take the second left into the Alfreton Road (A610). Turn right at the first set of traffic lights into Forest Road. Cross the next set of traffic lights (where the tramway crosses the road) and then take the second on the right into Addison Street. Take the second on the right into Arboretum Street.

From the North via the M1 Leave the M1 at junction 26 and take the Nottingham (A610) exit. Continue on the A610 for approximately 3 miles where you cross the ring road (A6514). Continue on for another mile and then turn left at the next main set of traffic lights, into Gregory Boulevard (A6130). Take the second exit at the mini roundabout at the far end of this road and then right at the roundabout immediately following it, up the hill (Mansfield Road). At the top of the hill cross the traffic lights and then immediately after the next lights turn right into Chatham Street. Turn left at the T junction with North Sherwood Street and immediately right into Newstead Grove. Turn right at the T junction into Addison Street and then take the first left into Arboretum Street.

From the East via the A52 Approach Nottingham on the A52 as far as the Gamston roundabout, where the ring road begins. Take the second exit towards the City Centre and follow signs for the City Centre via Trent Bridge. At the lights at the T junction (by the cricket ground) turn right over Trent Bridge and up London Road. At the traffic lights just past Jurys Inn Hotel turn left along Canal Street, keeping in the right hand lane after you have turned. Pass under the tramway and follow signs for M1 North; these will take you right and then round to the left up Maid Marian Way. At the roundabout (at the end of the dual carriageway) take the first exit and then move to the right-hand lane. Where the road forks at the top of the hill, keep right (A610 Alfreton Road). Turn right at the first set of traffic lights into Forest Road. Cross the next set of traffic lights (where the tramway crosses the road) and then take the second on the right into Addison Street. Take the second on the right into Arboretum Street.

The ‘High School’ is the nearest NET tram stop and we are a short 5 minute walk away down Waverley Street and then into Arboretum Street.

Our blue badge parking is available in the spaces in front of building 16. There is then a ramped entrance from Arboretum Street to building 17, the theatre.

There is a doorbell on a sliding door, please press this and a member of the Front of House team will open the access door.

Our foyer is flat floor, with a lift and an accessible toilet.

We have 6 wheelchair friendly spaces in the stalls area of our Main auditorium and where the seats can be removed. We recommended those seats on row H (side rows) in the stalls of our auditorium.

If you do not need a seat removed but require step free access, we recommend row J in the stalls, or row B in the circle, when our circle is open (we have a lift up to that section of seating).

We have two wheelchair friendly spaces in our Weston Studio. As our studio is usually general admission, you do not need to search for specific seats but just detail your access requirements at checkout.

We also have a hearing loop system.

It is our policy that everyone who attends our events, who requires an essential companion, receives a free ticket for their carer.

When booking on our third party ticketing provider trybooking.com, please select the ‘Accessible Ticket  (Good for 2)’ option. Customers will get two tickets for the price of one, to enable their essential companion to attend for free. The two tickets will automatically be added to your basket.

If you have any other people attending with you who do not require an Accessible ticket, they can select the Standard Admission or Concessionary Ticket options as appropriate.

Once you have selected the number of tickets you need, scroll down to the ‘Select Seats’ option, which allows you to choose your own accessible seats. You will see which side seats (row H in the Stalls) are available to book.
