Performance Information

What are the performance times?

Please do check individual productions for accurate information.

How long is the performance? Is there an interval?

We usually won’t know the exact running time of a production until the first preview performance.

The majority of productions have an interval, which usually lasts for 20 minutes.

What happens if I arrive a little late?

Latecomers may be admitted at the first suitable break however this cannot be guaranteed and varies between productions. The show will start at the time stated on your ticket so please allow plenty of time to get to the theatre.

Will there be nudity or swearing?

If a production contains nudity, swearing and/or scenes of a violent or sexual nature that might be distressing for some audiences, we will highlight this on the production information page and in the theatre.

Will there be any loud noises or strobe lighting?

Strobe lighting, smoke effects and gunshots will sometimes be used in productions and we will highlight this on the production information page and in the theatre.

Are there any age restrictions?

We don’t publish specific age recommendations for all our shows, though if there is a restriction this will be listed on the individual production page.

Can I bring children to Squire Performing Arts Centre?

Children are welcome, but this may be subject to individual production age restrictions due to content. If any age restrictions for productions apply we shall advise you prior to the performance.
